The tiger’s face is in fine silver burnished with 24ct gold foil by the Korean technique of Keum Boo to give the golden stripes of his coat, with the black stripes in patinated silver.  His eyes are orange glass foiled beads.  The chain passes through a fixed bale hidden at the back of the piece.

The lion’s face is in sterling silver with a muzzle of black patinated silver. The eyebrows are of 9ct gold and the eyes are tigers-eye beads.  The face is suspended over a black rubber necklet which passes through a tube within the creature’s muzzle.

The giraffe is in sterling silver with 9ct gold decoration to give his characteristic checked coat.  The eyes are tiger’s eye beads.

The zebra has his stripes pressed into the sterling silver sheet through rolling against a stencil of textured paper. The impressed stripes are then black patinated. His eyes are black Swarovski crystal beads.

A pair of dolphins dance within the oval frame.  Both are sterling silver with 9ct gold decoration, one bright silver the other black matt silver.

The whole beast is depicted in alternating layers of bright and matt black sterling silver from his rump on the back of the pendant to the nose at the front.  His eyes are black Swarovski crystal beads.

This piece in a combination sterling and fine silver has been textured by rolling with paper having been burnished with strips of 24ct gold foil.  All the silver of the fish has been patinated to give an entirely black and gold piece, with a black onyx bead eye.

The snake coils around the circular frame attached only by the tip of his tail.  His body is a mixed metal wire drawn from a twisted strand of silver copper and bronze.  The head detail and tongue are of 18ct gold.

The seahorse stands within the oval frame attached only by the curled end to his tail.  Largely of sterling silver the top-most fin is of fine silver to support burnished gold decoration.  Within the gold tube of his eye is a tiny sapphire, visible when holding the piece up to the light.

The sea lion is performing his classic trick of balancing a ball on his nose.  The ball is a Chinese Chrysocolla bead. He is of patinated sterling silver with 18ct gold wire whiskers.  Within the gold tube of his eye is a tiny citrine, visible when holding the piece up to the light.  The pendant is reversible.

This is a large brooch in sterling silver as a complex multi-layer design with his camouflage pattern depicted in bright and black patinated areas.  He has green malachite bead eyes.  The same design could be made to a smaller scale if preferred.

This is a large brooch in sterling silver.  The body of the dragonfly is a row of iridescent glass embroidery beads threaded onto a silver wire. The same design could be made to a smaller scale if preferred.

This brooch was created for an Italian exhibition entitled 'The posing Jewel'.  It is a large statement piece, constructed in complex layered pieces of sterling silver.  The eyes are blue crystal beads.

This brooch is a statement piece made as an entry for an Italian exhibition entitled 'The Posing Jewel'. constructed fro sterling silver sheet and wire, each prawn was modelled separately and the soldered to the circular brooch frame behind.  Each prawn has different coloured eyes of lapis, onyx and malachite.
